Secondary school visits

From the Norman Conquest to the medieval period and beyond, a visit to an English Heritage site can help you bring the history curriculum to life for your students.

Inspire your class as they learn about history at the places where the action really happened, and use our spaces to spark discussion of ideas, re-enact key events from the past, and explore historic architecture.

You can visit for free and organise your time to best suit your needs, or enhance your visit with a Discovery Visit for KS3, or a GCSE Tour. We also offer free planning visits, free resources and hazard information to help make your school trip planning as simple as possible.
