Boscobel House and The Royal Oak
SUITABLE FORFamilies
Gaze skywards in awe as a spectacular collection of birds take flight to soar and swoop above Boscobel House in this display of Victorian Falconry.
The art of falconry became an increasingly popular part of country life in the 19th century. Wealthy landowners would enjoy flying falcons over their estates and catching edible game for the larder with their hawks. Join our Victorian Falconers and listen to nostalgic tales about birds and the adventures of their human companions. Marvel at a stunning collection of birds of prey as they take to the skies in a series of live flying demonstrations set against a traditional rural landscape.
The flying displays will be approximately at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Please be aware that these timings are approximate and weather dependent.
Please note: Dogs will not be permitted in the Falconry field.
