    There is limited car parking available on site. Parking is time limited to 4 hours. If you feel you are going to be longer than 4 hours on the day, please register your vehicle in the shop or café for a longer stay. Parking is free.

    There are two electric car charging points in the main car park.

     

     

  • Food And Drink

    Turned Wood Café serves hot and cold food and beverages. Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drink on site however we ask you not to eat or drink within the exhibition. Only items purchased on site can be consumed within the Café.

  • Shop

    The Shop is open everyday in the summer 10am to 5pm, and Saturday and Sundays 10am to 4pm during the Winter.

  • Toilets

    V

    Public toilets are situated up one flight of stairs in the Café.

    We have two accessible toilets. One on the ground floor in the Café and one outside, next to the Stables.

  • Exhibition

    V

    The Mill exhibition on the ground floor of the Main Mill is self-guided and brings to life the story of this iconic landmark of the industrial revolution. For more information, please click here.

    Baby Changing Facilities

    Baby changing facilities are in the accessible toilet on the ground floor in the Café.

    Bottle / Food Warming

    A microwave and bottle-warming facilities are available in the Café.

    High Chairs

    High chairs are available in the Café.

    Push Chairs Allowed

    We welcome visitors with buggies and all entrances are accessible.

    Buggy and pram parking is available in the Café.

    English Heritage welcomes all photographers to our sites and we hope you will share your pictures with us on Flickr and Facebook. We do have some restrictions at certain locations, so if photography is your main reason for visiting, please call the site ahead of your visit to check if any parts of the site are restricted. English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
