Framlingham Castle Meet and Greet Volunteer

Find an opportunity > Framlingham Castle Visitor Volunteer

Framlingham Castle was once at the centre of a vast network of power and influence from the time of Magna Carta to Mary Tudor being proclaimed Queen whilst at Framlingham.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help our site team ensure that our visitors are greeted by a friendly welcome and smile upon their arrival to Framlingham Castle. This role provides crucial support during our busiest times by providing orientation and assisting visitors to either park in our car park or provide information where other parking spaces can be found in Framlingham.

Where & when

  • Framlingham Castle, Church St, Framlingham, IP13 9BP
  • Sessions are available during peak season, 10.30am – 3pm, Monday – Sunday and weekends only from November – March. Ideally, we are looking for people who could commit to one session per fortnight, during peak season.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for confident, effective communicators and team players, who have a positive attitude to working with visitors to enhance their visit. You will be happy to stand for long periods and spend periods of time outside in all weathers.
