Standing on the edge of an empire

We love this beautiful shot from @stitchingmyworld of the view along Hadrian’s Wall. The north-western edge of the vast Roman Empire, Hadrian’s Wall is a World Heritage Site stretching 73 miles from coast to coast through some of the most dramatic landscapes in the country, and is always popular with walkers.

Jemma explores a Victorian royal palace

This ornate lamp and ceiling detail were captured by Jemma (@finchyinsuffolk) at Queen Victoria’s seaside home of Osborne on the Isle of Wight. Rachael’s glorious greens at Osborne

Also taken at Osborne on the Isle of Wight, we love this gorgeous green view which Rachael took during her visit. Osborne was a beloved home of Queen Victoria and her family, and the greenhouses in the Walled Garden are a treasure trove of horticultural delights all year round.
