Free parking for 20 cars is available about 10 metres from entrance. Additional free parking is available in Corbridge itself, near the river, about 1 1/4 miles away.

Fascinating museum contains wide range of items which cover every aspect of Roman life, including The Corbridge Hoard (which was a Soldiers Trunk containing his worldly goods) and the tombstone of little Ertola, who ‘lived most happily four years and sixty days’, shown still playing with her ball.

There is plenty of room to run and play in our large open areas, but no ball games or kites please.
