Access at Dartmouth Castle

Please note that the council are currently carrying out building works next to the castle. There is a revised route through the site and visitors currently exit via a narrow spiral staircase – approximately 12 steps. We regret that access is very restricted. Ground floors have many steps; a helper is recommended. Narrow, steep spiral staircases to upper floors in gun tower. Shop accessed via four steps – assistance advised.
