Free for English Heritage members displaying a valid car sticker. Car park with 20 spaces is located 50m from the entrance. Additional pay-and-display parking is available down at the quay.

You are welcome to bring a picnic to eat in the grounds. 

Gift shop located at the entrance to the Keep. Sells a selection of English Heritage souvenirs and medieval themed gifts. Access via 15 steps.

The upper hall houses a display by the Orford Museum Trust, including local finds of Roman brooches, medieval seals and coins and some of the borough regalia. Graphic panels display maps, documents, pictures and photographs, illustrating Orford’s history up to the 20th century.

The grounds surrounding the castle are undulating.

Audio tours describing the history of the castle are included in the ticket price.
