    It’s a 10 to 15-minute walk from Shrewsbury bus station.

    Getting to the Flaxmill Maltings from the bus station:

    • 24 (Shrewsbury to Harlescott)
    • 25 (Shrewsbury to Harlescott)
    • 511 (Shrewsbury to Wem/Whitchurch)
    • 64 (Shrewsbury to Market Drayton)

    Getting back to the bus station in Shrewsbury Town Centre:
    There are two stops to choose from to get you back to Shrewsbury Town Centre.

    From the stop outside 1 Sultan Road you can catch the following services:

    • 24 (Shrewsbury to Harlescott)
    • 25 (Shrewsbury to Harlescott)

    From the stop next to Hallcroft Court Junction you can catch the following services:

    • 64 (Shrewsbury to Market Drayton)
    • 511 (Shrewsbury to Wem/Whitchurch)

  • Train Access

    It’s a 10 to 15-minute walk from Shrewsbury train station.

    If you are walking to the Flaxmill Maltings from Shrewsbury train station, turn right when you leave the station building and right again to head under the railway bridge into Castle Foregate. From here continue up this road (which becomes St Michael’s Street) for 0.6 miles and the Flaxmill Maltings will be on your left.

    There is also a taxi rank outside of the station.

  • Bicycle Access

    The Flaxmill Maltings is well connected to the cycleway network. The Old Shrewsbury Canal path cycleway brings you out opposite our entrance. There is also access under the railway bridge from the cycleways in Greenfields Park and Herongate.

    There is a mixture of covered and open cycles stores on site with space for 24 bikes to be attached to secure loops.

    The covered cycle store behind The Stables is clearly signposted upon arrival. The open cycle stores can be found near the main entrance gate, and near the Dye House.
