    Parking (approx 48 spaces) outside the castle is free to English Heritage members displaying a valid car sticker. Non-members must pay. At busy times, there is additional (charged) parking in Warkworth Town, about 200m away, or a long-stay car park near the beach (charges may apply).

    You are welcome to bring a picnic to eat in the grounds. There are no picnic benches but you may use any of the grassed areas across the site.

    The Duke's Rooms are furnished rooms within the castle keep. For conservation reasons The Duke's Rooms are only open to the public on certain days during the summer months. Please contact the site directly for opening times (phone number 01665 711423).

Due to the delicate nature of our sites, English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
