Followers of the official Tintagel Castle and English Heritage accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will be able to enter the competition by sharing their favourite thing about Tintagel Castle with the hashtag #Tintagel1M.

How to enter:

Share your favourite thing about Tintagel Castle with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #Tintagel1M. Written entries and/or photographs will be accepted.*

Entries must be received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time to be eligible for entry into the competition. This competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom.

One overall winner will be selected at random by English Heritage from all eligible entries received. The overall winner will receive a one night midweek stay at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay** with dinner and breakfast included for two people. Plus, a ticket to visit Tintagel Castle.

Photographs and entries may be shared across our website and social media.

English Heritage will contact each winner via the platform's Direct Message within 14 days of the competition closing date to arrange delivery of their prize, which will be sent within 28 calendar days of receiving confirmation of the winner’s address.

All entries received before the Opening Time or after the Closing Time are automatically disqualified.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

All entries must be the sole work of the entrant.

By entering this competition, individuals consent to allowing English Heritage using, reposting, repurposing or sharing across their website, print and social media for Marketing purposes in perpetuity.

The entry, name and social media handle of the winner will be used by English Heritage and shared on English Heritage’s social media accounts.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Employees or contractors of English Heritage, any person directly or indirectly involved in English Heritage or the running of the competition, or their direct family members are not eligible for the prize. English Heritage’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives. English Heritage reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.

*Please note that we are not able to see entries from private accounts.

*The stay is valid for Sunday to Thursdays only and excludes school holidays, public holidays and must be redeemed by 4th August 2024. Please note that this does not include any other food, beverage, treatments or travel, and cannot be exchanged for cash or a stay at any other PIG hotel.
